Right here in plain English,

"If you do not specify a value for innodb_data_file_path, the default behavior is to create a single auto-extending data file, slightly larger than 12MB, named ibdata1."

So I don't see what you're getting at. This is clearly not the expected behavior. And it appears you're gaslighting me. If you don't have anything meaningful to add, then please don't respond any further to this thread and let the developers deal with it.
