I can Alter the table using SqlYOG editor... that's not the problem.
the error occurs in Cognos Framework manager, when I am trying to pull the mySql changes into the Data Source into the Cognos Query Subject. May be a Cognos issue I am just not convinced of this yet ...
the table is 1.2 Gig ... and the available disk space looks to be 40 G.
Where do I find the setting for Tmpdir ???
