Thread State - Query End

Hi,

Really appreciate of someone could provide some guidance on the above. We've running a large number of insert and update queries on one of our DB's overnight and we're attempting to optimise this as it's taking a significant time to complete.

We're using MONyog to monitor the server and looking at thread state whilst we're running this process reveals that circa 98% of the time the thread state is at 'query end'.

Is this normal and if not where should we start looking in order to optimise?

Regards,

Simon
