Thanks for the response, The numbers I put in are for a small system starting out, I have the usage of what i expect in the initial posting to this forum. When usage goes up, in 6 months, I will upgrade. I do not have that luxury right now, nor do i have 1000 concurrent users and connections.
I'm asking - what can i run and how do i configure it to not dampen mysql performance.
