I have a couple clarification questions :)

1. Do you mean run analyze table on the whole database? We've tried optimize table but it asks for table recreation.
2. We've profiled and fixed queries. I've seen that optimizer has been changed in mysql 8 so I would expect it will behave differently but it's unclear why his "math" is not really correct :)
