This size database should be possible (at least as far as I know) - although it would be good to know the exact schema your considering and what type of workloads. Certainly become familiar with the contents of the manual and consider training, consulting etc as this is a large system.

There is hardware that can have that much RAM - from the usual big vendors (and no doubt for a big price too).
