Your cluster´s performance isn´t going to be any better than your network connectivity, if that´s you mean. Cluster is basically intended to be used with a 100-Mb (or faster) network.

IMO: If you can guarantee a connection in the megabits/sec range, you might be able to pull it off with acceptable levels of performance. With anything less, you´re likely to get more reliability from normal replication.
