Dear Anton,

The answer to both of your question is yes. Yes you should try to upgrade once 5.0 is released. It offers some performance and functionality enhancments.

In addition, yes you should probably move the data node away from the web sever.

The cluster is ment to scale. Meaning that if you are using most of your memory, you could either add more memory, or add an additional systems to reduce the amount of memory needed by each data node.

The great thing about MySQL Clusters is that you can keep adding low cost systems to scale out your solution.
