Terry,

The data nodes usually dump the error logs an trace in the root directory above where their file system directory is created. For example if you set the data directory to /vay/mysqlcluster, mysqlcluster for the system the data node is failing on is most likely were the error log would be.

Anyway, if you have more problems, we will be here to try and help.
