Re: Using MySQL Cluster in a VM - Pros x Cons?
I am currently in the process of setting up a cluster in a virtual environment and having very little luck getting the SQL node to run on the same IP as the DATA. That is actually the reason I came to the forum today.
Irrespective, on slide 11 of the deck you linked I noticed this:
"If your database application is time sensitive, including
logging and real-time database applications, or you are
using MySQL Cluster, then the effects of virtualization
may severely reduce the performance of your application"
