Regarding BLOB columns they can be used freely with NDB, they might have some
performance impact.

Regarding size of DB, NDB Cluster is storing most of the data in-memory.
So it depends on your RAM sizes. It is possible to store parts of the
database on disk pages. So e.g. the BLOB's should be considered for this
as long as you don't index the BLOBs.

NDB Cluster can scale to many nodes, so it is the total memory
that is interesting.

So NDB Cluster can be a good option for you, it depends a bit on the
type of queries. So best is to make some experiments.
