We currently have each sql + management node configured with 4GB of RAM while the data nodes are configured with 8GB of RAM. They are containers configured on a Proxmox Virtual Environment and shouldn't have more than the overall machine allows for. I have noticed that the RAM usage for the data nodes peaks to about 1.5GB when starting the cluster.
