Thank you Mikael for the prompt reply and helpful insight and suggestion.

I will give adjusting those configuration parameters a shot.

Is there any way to gain insight into how many and what triggers are firing for a given operation? We're using the ndbcluster storage engine for the tables involved.

I'm trying to delete rows from 2 tables simultaneously, one of the tables I'm trying to delete from has 4 columns that are indexed, the other table has one column that is indexed, and there's a foreign key relationship from one table to the other.
