Please help: php script running mysql replication commands

Hi,

i am working on a setup of master slave replication. I want to prepare a php script that executes mysql commands and changes the slave to master when the master dies.

i don't know how to run the CHANGE MASTER TO sql oommand from a php file.

plz help!!
