VMWARE Hypervisor for mysql replication
I have a mysql replication for service of shopping mall.
It has 5 mysql servers ( 1 master and 4 slaves) on solaris 10 x86 at the SUN machine.
Now I'm going to scale out 2 slaves more for display service.
But I consider to install 2 slaves on LINUX with VMWARE Hypervisor at the IBM x86 machine.
what do you think about different OS for mysql replication? (Solaris and Linux)
and VMWARE Hypervisor is good for mysql replication? is there any problems to manage or operate mysql replication?
Is there any reference? and give me advice to make a good dicision.
