How to speed up database recovery?

Hi,

I have a large mysql database with 25GB data. I use mysqldump to make a backup which takes a few hours to complete. On the other hand, it needs 30+ hours to restore the database from the backup. I'd like know if there is any method or other backup format that can make database recovery faster.
