Mysqldump command problem

I'm having problems with the "mysqldump". I'm maintaining a database for my project in MySql. For safety purpose i take backup of my database using the command
" mysqldump -A -u username -p password > filename.sql "

This is taking backup successfully. But, when i restore the database with this new backup, the password field is not getting automatically encoded. I h'v to encode it separately using the update query. But it is not good in the case of a clientside to restore the backup and use the update query for encoding. It must be automatically encoded after restoring the backup.
Anyone who know the way to solve this problem plz send elaborate explanation to my mail-id
Thanks in Advance.
