"+1" is very likely to be wrong. Binlog "Pos" is a byte offset into a binlog.
STOP SLAVE;
Capture SHOW SLAVE STATUS;
Use the values in it to "pick up where the slave left off".
Better yet, use Percona's Xtrabackup. It takes care of more of this for you.
