You are saying 11 hours versus 19 hours?
Same hardware?
Same RAID striping and number of drives?
Any relevant differences in SHOW VARIABLES?
Did the MyISAM tables take a similar amount if disk space? (I am looking for an OPTIMIZE, or other action, that made one significantly smaller than the other.)
