hi @ll

dont hit the newbie (me) plz, i have many questions in a very bad english and very stupid questions for experts like the most of you - i think so...

lets tell the story:

a friend from me wants to save the db (v 4.x) from his WBB2; he couldnt use (i dont know why the hoster don grants him access) the phpmyadmin extension. now he have to use the function (in the ACP) who is delivered with the board from the manuacturer (woltlab).

but i cant import this exported file into the 4.x or 5.x version of mysql - one error follows another - horrible. only the backup which is made directly from the phpmyadmin frontend is working (tested with my datas and some ops like drop-table, ifnotexist, autoincement, etc.).

now - what to do? anyone knows something?

how does it works to import the database via telnet (i didnt know any kind of commands)?

plz help a real real newbie :D

thx,

krizpac
