Hi,
Yes, thank you for pointing this reading logs feature.
There is quicker workaround to fulfill McAfee requirements.
In rsyslog on linux there is 'template' feature which allows to send modified logs to log server using single configuration line.
Reading audit logs inside db engine and reformatting it there would complicate whole process of passing logs.
