MySQL Administration Version 1.2.12
MySQL Server Version 6
Windows Server 2000 SP4

I have a very similar problems listed the the bugs list. But I'm using MySQL Server 6, do I need to down grade to Version 5?

Any advise?

Not only that I'm unable to edit users, adding users had errors. Here the info.

Clicking the "Apply Changes" after inputing user data, a DOS box appeared with a message.

"**Message: save user: error adding user information entry"

If you close this DOS box,the MySql Administrator exit. On reopenning the Administrator, the new user appears, again you can't edit the user. You can still log in using this new user. Closing the DOS box, you'll not see another message behind it.

This is the message behind the DOS Box.

"MySQL Administrator Exception"
"Error while storing the user information. The user might have been deleted.
Please refresh the user list."

If you minimize the DOS box, you'll see the second message. And when you click the "OK" button, the new user is not updated. Attempting to click the "apply Changes" button (Dos box still minimized), the same thing happens again. On the Dos box message,

"**Message: save user: error adding user information entry"

At this point, you can "Discard" the user.
