I've got the same problem.

MySQL Administrator version: 1.2.15
MySQL Server: 5.0.51b-community-nt-log
Windows Vista x64, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP - all affected.

I can create users, but it errors, yet still puts them into the users list.
Can't edit any users at all
Cannot amend Schema Privileges for users either.
Cannot delete users.
I have a user with no name - empty user.

Any ideas?!
