What mysql user name is the web app using?

Can you use that mysql username in Administrator?

Does that let you see the schema(s) you're looking for?

mysql root user should have access to all the schemas.

The table in mysql for users was changed between V 5.0 and 5.1. Migrating users from one to the other was not just a matter of loading the old table into the new database. There are extra fields which need to be filled.
But, when the upgrade was installed, root user should have access to all schemas.
How are you working on the schemas that root can't see?

Good Luck,
