Hi,

I've bit confuse about our DB memory utilization , we have following out put in

SHOW ENGINE INNODB STATUS
--------------
ROW OPERATIONS
--------------
0 queries inside InnoDB, 0 queries in queue
7 read views open inside InnoDB
Main thread process no. 12154, id 47320309962496, state: sleeping
Number of rows inserted 9660119, updated 26333036, deleted 2785557, read 86828355459
32.48 inserts/s, 106.91 updates/s, 10.70 deletes/s, 320728.37 reads/s

Which clearly show we have more reads then writes! but when we see our AWS RDS graph , we saw our Write IOPS always greater than 400/seconds where Read IOPS usually under 10 IOPS per seconds.

Can someone please help me identify why is that ? or am I misunderstood something ?

Thank you
