MySQL Service Crashing

I am finding the following problem with my MySQL version 5.0.15-nt:

1. Create new schema in MySQL Administrator
2. Load structure in from SQL statement file via SQLyog Enterprise
3. Access the new DB via SQLyog Enterprise - works fine, can view everything
4. Try to add a new table, and when i try to commit the changes, it stops the service and corrupts that DB.

From here on out I cannot access the DB from within the program, nor from the MySQL administrator. In fact, if I go to "catalogs" and click on the DB in question, it crashes the service.

I have other DBs on this Win03 server machine, and those all seem fine. I can access data from them without problem, but i am afraid to try creating a new table within those DBs since i would prefer not to lose my data.

Anyone have any ideas on where to start?
