Can't connect

I have installed the MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver, Version : 03.51.09 and am trying to connect and query via VBA in Excel. I have done this with both Oracle and Access but am getting the following error:

[MySQL][ODBC 3.51 Driver]Can't connent to MySQL on server 'server name'(10060)

Any suggestions beyond checking the regular things like username, password, d-base name, etc...?

My biggest concern is that I have the server name incorrect. The d-base is on a personal website and I assumed that the server name was the name of my site (ie. www.sitename.com). Any ideas on how to find an alternate name?
