Sorry for the inconvenience.
This problem has been reported and fixed in MySQL Connector/ODBC 8.0.27.
The work-around would be to disable the schemas support by adding NO_SCHEMA=1 to the connection string or by ticking a checkbox in ODBC Administragor DSN Dialog:
Details >> Metadata >> [x] Disable Schema Support.
