connection problem in LAN

Hi! I have a serious connection problem...please help me!
I have a stand alone java application that connects to a mysql db.
Other PC use this application in LAN, but when other PC call this application, the connection on mysql db is refused.

the connection string is

con = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/dbName?user=root&password=root");

and the rows in the user table are

'%', 'root', '*81F5E21E35407D884A6CD4A731AEBFB6AF209E1B', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', 'Y', '', '', '', '', 0, 0, 0, 0

please help me...what's the problem?
