This phenomenon is occurring only in "jboss-5.1" with mysql-connector-java-5.1.18-bin.jar.
No issues occurred when we used "jboss-4.0.5" with "mysql-connector-java-5.0.5-bin.jar".

I read the changed release document of "mysql-connector-java-5.1.25-bin.jar" from this site. Lot of bugs has been fixed related to the above mentioned issue.

Could you please let me know whether we can resolve this issue if we use "jboss-5.1" with "mysql-connector-java-5.1.25-bin.jar".
