Hi Benjamin,

From what you described I would say that the second RDS is running running on port 3306 (default when you don't provide any) and it's different from the one in the first server.

WRT the "schema" issue, if you can't connect while using the named schema, it should mean that the database "schema" doesn't exist in the server you're connecting to. There should be an error message notifying you about that.
