If you want to specify the time zone on the client jdbc end - is this the correct syntax ?
jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/mydatabase?serverTimezone=Europe/London#?connectTimeout=5&socketTimeout=0&autoReconnect=true
I seem to need to include the # but I'm not sure why
