Re: Extracting MySQL Data
I've been testing MySQL Query Browser 1.1.15 on MySQL 4.1.12-nt and the Export function.
It produces a .xls file in MS Excel 2003 XML (SpreadsheetML) format.
My test export was very simple, 8 rows of 3 columns: Number, Text, Number.
When attempting to open it in OOo2.0 Calc (OpenOffice.org) thru OOo2's XSML filters it *CRASHES* OOo2.
I have opened an Issue with OOo/QA, it shouldn't crash. But would like to confirm that the MySQL produced .XLS really works.
I don't have access to Microsoft's Excel 2003 (Office XP). Could anybody who has sucessfully opened one of these MySQL Query Browser produced .XLS files give me a wink here?
Thanks in Advance.
