Hi Rui,

Thank you for the info on the connector. Its good to know I hadn't missed something with that approach.

I think I may have found a solution: collecting the data, and then perioidically writing it to a text file which I then load with the "LOAD DATA" command. My client is on the same machine as the mysql server, so this could work well.
