You can take a look on
MyDAC. MyDAC supports latest versions of Delphi IDE and MySQL servers. MyDAC includes a lot of useful examples that shows how does MyDAC work with MySQL server. You can find them in %MyDAC%\Demos\ directory. %MyDAC% is the MyDAC installation path on your computer.
