Presumably you mean not a sql cursor but rather the screen cursor in a GUI interface you're using. What app is it, what does the cursor position you're talking about signify, and why is it important?

Unclear. Consider posting, as Insert statements, the smallest possible dataset that demonstrates the problem you're observing, and note the values you think the query ought to return and does not.
