And IMHO it makes no sense at all to support anything else then
some sort of SQL-ish language.
That PostgreSQL supports so many languages for SP's doesn't pay off the
long term.
Every developer has it's own favorite language, and perhaps five
people are developing a database - five languages are used ?

And perhaps you will need to migrate your database with all of its
SP's,triggers etc some day to another dbms.

SQL is for DBMS, programing languages for anything else.

I did development in MS SQL, Sybase ASE, Oracle and MySQL 3/4/5 and the similarities
are so big in the end, that such a break would cause me more work.
