As long as your application is designed well,
it makes no difference; the extra burdon for python
is to split the data accross several tables, thus it
needs to inspect the data first and do some logical
decisions on that.
I can tell you, that python is fast enough to hadle that -
at least in theory - your codes limits it's success...
