MySQLdb later version than _mysql

Hello,

After installing MySQLdb from the mac os x package installer i get the following error message:

ImportError: this is MySQLdb version (1, 2, 2, 'final', 0), but _mysql is version (1, 2, 1, 'final', 2)

I'm running OS X 10.4.9 and using using python 2.4.4 with MySQL 5.
