Hi,
Sorry for this late reply. The topic got closed and I failed to re-open it, but now it is!

The Python used doesn't really look like anything that comes default with OS X. Any early MacOS would have lower version of Python.

The DMG uses the Python that comes with OS X. So it got installed, but the Python you use at the terminal is looking in another PYTHONPATH.

Please confirm.
