Trying to create an "edit page" link that dynamically appears on pages
Hi, I am a new user of PHP and MySQL, and I have been using the same Lynda.com tutorial, PHP with MySQL Essential Training by Kevin Skoglund. Well I have been able to follow along through the whole tutorial, however at the end of the CMS part of the tutorial, he "assigns" the viewer to figure out the rest of the development, and then shows what he would have done. Unfortunately, I don't feel like I am able to invent yet with PHP. Here is the problem I am having:
I have set up a navigation that generates all the subjects, pages and products from my database. When you click on any of those items, the subject, page or product, it shows up in the main page DIV. IN the tutorial, we set it up so subjects are editable when you click them. The other pages just echo details from the database back. I am not sure how to add a link to each of the pages so that you can edit them.
