Re: Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()

I haven't read through all of the posts, but I had this same error.

I resolved it by copying c:\php.ini into c:\windows and restarted my Web Server. Now a mysql section shows up on the phpinfo page and my php script runs.
