Yes, for a big project like this you might need to hire a MySQL developer who has experience in migration from MSSQL. If it's my problem, I might strongly prefer that route.

Or, alternatively, you could do with an Enterprise edition with its built-in support.

Or, for starters, post DDL and sample data for one of the MSSQL tables and let's see what responders here can work out.
