change the database from oracle to mysql
Hi friends,
Well and wish you the same. If u have enough time, give me answer for the below doubt.
In my project we r planing to change the database from oracle to mysql. For that
1. what are the steps have to take an account
2. we are used struts and DAO pattern, so what are things have to do in code.
3. is there any need to change in datatypes.
4. whether MYSQL supports CLOB and BLOB.
5. Encryption and decryption in MYSQL.
