Connection issues between Forms 6i and MySQL db

Hi,

I am new to MySQL server and I have some connectivity issues.

First of all, I was wondering if it was possible to use an application developed with Forms and Report 6i with a MySQL database ?

This application is currently in use with an Oracle 817 database. I have installed OCA with Forms and Myodbc. The connection is ok but I receive the following error message : frm-21011:PL/SQL unhandled exeption ORA-30021. Moreover, my application doesn’t stop running and when I submit a query, I receive this other error message: frm-40505:ORACLE error: unable to perform query.

I also noticed that procedures and functions that where stored in my Oracle db were not imported in MySQL. So, in few words, is MySQL capable of interpreting all queries that Oracle can do and if so, which tools should I use (since OCA and Myodbc don’t seem to be suited)

Regards,
