error mesage at insert apears only in oracle

Hello,

I`m trying to make an insert in mysql database.
In a oracle databse when I try to insert values like ip`s in bigint column I get this error :505: SQL Query error, [nativecode=ORA-01722: invalid number] in query.

Instead, in mysql I don`t get any error , the insert query runs but he transform the values from the ip`s tables in int type without generating any error code.

I whant in this case that mysql to generate an error message.

Have any idea>
