Re: Convert oracle SQL statement to MySQL

My problem is that it is a select statement on tne same table inside of an update statement. According to the documentation from mySQL this is not possible. So I am looking for another way to accomplish this in mySQL. do I have to create a sepereate table and do something funky that way or is there a case/if statement that may be built to do this.

Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance to anyone.

Regards,
supersobbie
