Karlsson:

Thanks for your input. I am using Red Hat Enterprise 3 for an operating system on the MySQL Server and I would like to get the data from my IBM AS/400 running version 5.1 of the OS. I just got a new IBM i5 box in yesterday that will be running Version 5.3 but I will probably not have it up and running for another week or so. I use DTS packages on Microsoft SQL 2000 to get about a dozen tables downloaded from my AS/400 to the SQL server each night and I want to find a way to schedule jobs that will get the data from the AS/400 to the MySQL database. I have some fairly large tables that have several million rows in them that I am dealing with and a few with less than a thousand rows. I also use connector statements in my Active Server Page queries today on my Microsoft box but I do not know where to get an ADODB connector for the AS/400 on the MySQL box.

Thanks,
Alan
