slow search in Access with MYSQL Back End
Hallo!
I use MS Access as a database Front End and MYSQL as the Back End. The main table has about 7000 entries. Everything is working fine except the serch function (strg+f) in MS Access. It takes up to a minute to find an entry. I activated the options 'Don't activate column width','Return matching rows' 'use compressed protocol', 'cahnge bigint to int' and 'allow big results'. Has anyone an idea, how to speed it up?
