I had the same error during a migration. I looked at the access filed names in the tables and found some things that needed to be changed. The prior designer of hte access database had used "?" and "#" symbols in hte filed names. I removed these symbols, fixed stuff in the reports, and queries, etc. and the migration went without a hitch. I hope this helps.
